To find the area of the deck, we need to calculate the area of triangle and rectangles

Lets find the area of triangle A

Area of triangle = \frac{1}{2} * base * height

base = 9 and height =10

So area of triangle A = \frac{1}{2} * 9 * 10= 45

Area of rectangle = Base * height

Base of rectangle B = 9ft

Height of rectangle B = 12ft

Area of rectangle B = 9*12 = 108 square feet

Base of rectangle C = 24ft

Height of rectangle C = 22ft

Area of rectangle C = 24 * 22 =528 square feet

Area of the deck = Area of A + area of B + area of C

= 45 + 108 + 528

= 681 square feet
