kompoz [17]

Social gerontology is the study of the nonphysical aspects of aging, including such topics as the societal consequences of an aging population and the personal experience of aging.

Gerontology is the study of ageing and how it affects people at all stages of life. The analysis of societal changes brought on by our ageing population; the study of physical, mental, and social changes in ageing individuals; and the application of this information to policies and programmes are all included.

Gerontology's subdiscipline of social gerontology is thought to be science-based but application-focused. The protection of their unique requirements and the preservation of their social interactions in old age are its main points of emphasis. Autonomy and self-determination are significant value orientations.

As the population ages, the older people's demands change, and as society adapts to meet these requirements, social gerontology will play a significant role in society. Gerontology's main objectives—to increase our understanding of ageing and use research to better the lives of older people—are supported by age-related research.

Jose is suggesting to the dean of his business school that a new course be added at his university after learning about new tren
lianna [129]

Answer:

The correct answer would be, Jose is using the Indirect Paragraph plan.

Explanation:

In the Indirect Paragraph Plan, the writer does not directly writes down the purpose or the plan, rather he gradually builds up to the purpose which he states in the body. The evidence, supporting documentation, reasoning, etc are given in the first place of the message, then writer writes the main idea or purpose of the letter or message or writing.

If you think that the reader to whom you are sending the message would likely to have a negative opinion on your writing, then indirect paragraph plan is the best way to approach him.

As in this case, Jose is not sure about the opinion or reaction of the Dean, so he started his message with the evidence, documentation and reasoning and then told his main purpose.
