Answer:

I belive the Governments response to the coronavirus was an appropriate response. The death toll of corona virus is 2,234,109  and if we all continued to work and go to school the amount could have been even higher. Shutting down schools stops lots of interaction between lots of people. Lots of people are refusing to stay indoors and continue interaction after being told not to, causing many more cases that could have been avoided.

The hospitals are over flowing and if we continued school lots of people could get it and not know they have it because it is very hard to get tested. Lots of people think they have the common cold or allergies so they don't handle them seriously but you may never know if you actually have it if we continued school.

Which of the following sentences is a fused sentence? A. That loud noise was hail. B. The countryside has really changed, it l
Anestetic [448]

Answer:I hate gossip it destroys people's lives.

Explanation:

What are Fused Sentences?

A fused sentence which is also referred to as a run-on sentence, results from connecting two independent clause into one sentence without using punctuation.

In terms of grammar rules this can be regarded as an error but sometimes people use these sentences informally.

It is however not encouraged to use these type of sentences in formal writing.

Let us first explain what is meant by

Independent Clauses:

Since fused sentences are a connection of independent clauses it would be good to understand them.

Independent clause refers to words that contain nouns and verbs and they can independently form a grammatically complete sentence if broken up.

Let us break our sentence above into independent clause or main clause:

This is also a useful way of correcting a fused sentence.

- I hate gossip.

- it destroys people's lives.

If these sentences are combined together without a punctuation that when we get a fused sentence.

A comma can also be used to sperate the two main clause in order to correct a fused sentence.

- I hate gossip, it destroys people's lives.

Another way of correcting fused sentence is using comma and a coordinating conjunction

- I hate gossip, and it destroys people's lives

We can also use a preposition to combine the two

- I hate gossip because it destroys people's lives.

WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

Compromises and Act.

Explanation:

The compromises and Act were related to the question of slavery. The South relied on agriculture and took the slavery system as legal to generate wealth. Whereas the North were against the practice of slavery they considered it evil because it bound people to their masters without having rights and freedom.

Missouri Compromise became the first compromise related to slavery. The Compromise established Missouri as a slave and Maine as a free state. The purpose of the compromise was to maintain the balance of power in the Senate.

The westward migration in California led the government to introduce the compromise of 1850. The Compromise of 1850 reduced the political dispute over slavery in new territories after the Mexican-American War.

The Kansas-Nebraska Act passed by the government in 1854. It allowed Kansas and Nebraska to decide whether to allow slavery or not.
