Hence, \tan x = \frac{AC}{BC} = \frac{A'C'}{B'C'}

⇒ \frac{AC}{A'C'} = \frac{BC}{B'C'}

Therefore, the sides of the two right triangles are in the same ratio and hence, Δ ABC and Δ A'B'C' are similar.
