Why are people against guns?

Because some people believe that guns are the reason there is so much violence in the world. People think that the guns are to blame for situations like mass shootings. I personally believe it has nothing to do with the availability to guns I think that the person doing that is just really messed up and wasn’t given proper attention or treatment.
