They also have the power to remove the president through an impeachment process by bringing an allegation of misconduct against the president.

In addition, they also have the powers to approve the annual budget of the state by passing the appropriation bill ,they have the powers to increase the budget and to cut down the budget.The executive cannot spend any money in the treasury without the approval of the congress. The congress also have the powers to ratify foreign treaty and agreement the country made with the other countries of the world
