1.

a) all segments parallel to XT are WS, ZV and YU.

Remember that parallel segments are those which have the same angle of inclination. In this case, those segments we mentioned are perpendicular to the bottoming plane, so they have the same inclination.

b) all segments parallel to ZY are WX, VU and ST.

These segments are all parallel because they all are horizontal, they have a null slope.

c) the only segment parallel to VS is ZW, becuase they move has the same angles of inclination.

d) a plane parallel to STU is WXY, basically beacuse they have the same angle of inclination. It's like a roof and a floor, those planes are always parallel each other.

e) a plane parallel to UVZ is TSW, because they have the same inclination-

f) all segments skew to SW are UY, UV, UT, ZY and YX, mainly beacuse they don't intercept and they are on different planes

g) all segments skew to UT are ZY, WX, ZW, ZV and WS because they don't intercept and they are on different planes.

2.

a) AB and BC intercect.

b) AE and BF are parallel.

c) EF and AD skew

d) plane ABC and plane ABF are intersecting.

e) plane AED and plane BFC are parallel.

3.

f) line l is a transversal, which is a line that passes through another two lines in the same plane.

g) all corresponding angles are 5 and 7, 6 and 8, 1 and 3, 2 and 4.

h) all alternate interior angles are 2 and 7, 6 and 3.

i) all alternate exterior angles are 1 and 8, 5 and 4.

j) all consecutive interior angles are 6 and 7, 2 and 3.

4.

a) the transversal connecting angle 1 and angle 5 is line r.

b) the transversal connecting angle 7 and angle 14 is line t, the one at the right side between lines r and s.

c) the transversal connecting angle 8 and angle 11 is line s.

Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

Linear Equations In One Variable =

Next step :

in the equation y/6 = 156, it would be equivalent to y = 156 × 6.

so that :

y = 156 × 6

y = 936

Help me with this question please
mojhsa [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

so, he will not wear any pants ? socks ? not to mention underwear ?

anyway, we have to deduct the $35 for the shoes, as he is seemingly buying them in any case.

so, we are left with 100 - 35 = $65 for shirts.

as one shirt costs $15, we need to see how often 15 fits into 65, as that is the answer how many shirts he can buy for this money.

65 / 15 = 4.333333333...

since he cannot buy a part shirt, we can only rely on the integer part of the calculation.

so, he can buy 4 shirts and will have $5 left.

Hello everyone can you answer this for me? What is A in the equation attached? Please and thank you.
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

a = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

Solve:

  • 4(3a - 4) = 56
  • 3a - 4 = 14 (factoring out 4)
  • 3a = 18 (adding 4 to both sides)
  • a = 6 (dividing by 3)

Another way:

  • 4(3a - 4) = 56
  • 12a - 16 = 56 (distributive property)
  • 12a = 72 (moving like terms)
  • a = 6 (dividing by 12)

Distributive Property of Multiplication:

The process of distributing the outside factor to the terms in the parenthesis.

Example:

4(3a - 4)\\\\4(3a) - 4(4)\\\\12a - 16

Triangles △ABC and △DEF are similar. Find the angles of these triangles if
m∠A=100°, m∠B=30°.
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer:

angle A and angle D equals 100 degrees, angle B and angle E equals 30 degrees, and angle C and angle F equal 50 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

a triangle has to equal 180 degrees, and since they are similar, it should equal the same. Hope this helped you. :))
