Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a) Five tests: 85,85,60,62 and 59

Mean = average

= (85+85+60+62+59)/5

= 351/5

Mean  = 70.2

Median = middle number (order from least to greatest)

59 , 60, 62, 85, 85

Median = 62

Mode = the ones repeated more often = 85

b) Since mode is the highest score, compare to mean and median.

So mode is the best supports  Rolinda's claim that she is doing well in her Spanish class

c) Rolinda's claim is misleading because her first two tests were 85 but then it started decreasing each test after.

Umnica [9.8K]

Answer: -57

Step-by-step explanation:

15 + ( - 72)

Distribute

15 - 72

When this happens, you subtract the smaller number by the bigger one, then put the sign that was on the bigger number on what you get.

72 - 15 = 57

Put a negative sign on 57

-57

15 + (-72) = -57

Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

As the principal, interest rate, and compound periods increase, so does the future value of an investment. It doesn't matter if you are just putting some money into short-term, low rate savings accounts or CDs or long-term, higher return investments, compound interest will work for your benefit if you allow it.
