Our vestibular sense contributes to the ability to maintain body posture and body balance.
Vestibular is termed as a sensory system which provides the leading contribution to spatial orientation and sense of balance. This is because it coordinates balance with movement. Vestibular has two components which are semicircular canals and otoliths. Semicircular indicates movement ration and otoliths indicates linear acceleration. Vestibular sends signals primarily to the neural structure which their work is to control eye movement.
