Answer:

1.h(x)=8.75x

2. g(x)=9.00x

Step-by-step explanation:

Anna gets paid $8.75/ hour working as a barista at Coffee Break. Her boss pays her $9.00/hour for creating the weekly advertisement signs. She works a total of 25 hours each week. Let x represent the hours that Anna works each week as a barista. Write a function h(x) to represent the amount of money that Anna earns working as a barista. *

Let s represent the number of hours that Anna works creating signs. Create a function g(s) to represent the money Anna earns creating the signs. *

h(x)=8.75x is the function to represent the amount of money that Anna earns working as a barista

g(x)=9.00x

is  the function to represent the amount of money that Anna earns  creating signs

Ashley charges $6 for a bracelet and 12$ for a necklace. She earned $168. Use b for bracelets and n for necklaces, and write an
yarga [219]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the number of bracelet be b

Let the number of necklace be n

If Ashley charges $6 for a bracelet , the total amount charged for b bracelets will be 6b

If she charge $12 for a necklace, the total amount for n necklace will be 12n

If she earned $168 in total, then:

6b + 12n = 168

Divide through by 6

b + 2n = 28

Hence the equation for this situation is b + 2n = 28

Next is to solve for b:

Make b the subject of the formula:

b + 2n = 28

subtract 2n from both sides

b + 2n - 2n = 28 - 2n

b = 28 -2n

Hence the function for b will  be b = 28-2n

How to solve this plss frac{(\sqrt{(3)})^{5}}{((\sqrt{(3)})^{-4})}=(\sqrt{(3)})^{(2k+1)
dusya [7]

Answer:

k = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation:

\dfrac{(\sqrt{3})^{5}}{(\sqrt{3})^{-4}}=(\sqrt{3})^{(2k+1)}

\textsf{Apply exponent rule} \quad \dfrac{a^b}{a^c}=a^{b-c}:

\implies (\sqrt{3})^{(5-(-4))}=(\sqrt{3})^{(2k+1)}

\implies (\sqrt{3})^{9}=(\sqrt{3})^{(2k+1)}

\textsf{Apply exponent rule} \quad a^{f(x)}=a^{g(x)} \implies f(x)=g(x):

\implies (\sqrt{3})^{9}=(\sqrt{3})^{(2k+1)}

\implies 9=2k+1

\implies 2k=8

\implies k=4
