The hypothalamus.

The hypothalamus links the nervous system with the endocrine system. It's part of the limbic system but can also synthesizes and secretes hypothalamic hormones. These hormones will either stimulate or inhibit the pituitary gland, which releases hormones that go throughout the body to the glands and organs.

Hypothalamus is the part of the limbic system that has considerable influence on the secretion of hormones throughout the body.

Further Explanation:

The parts of the brain that are located under the temporal lobe sandwiching the thalamus collectively constitute the limbic system. The limbic system was first defined by Paul D. MacLean. The biggest area of the brain is occupied by the forebrain. The limbic system, the hypothalamus, thalamus, and the pineal gland are the structures of the forebrain. A tiny structure in the brain that is present just on the brain stem in between the cerebral cortex and midbrain is called the thalamus.

The part of the forebrain that lies beneath the thalamus is known as the hypothalamus. Hypothalamus means "under the thalamus" This part of the brain is responsible for the control and coordination of the autonomous nervous system, the pituitary gland secretion, the thirst, temperature and systems of homeostasis.

Two different sets of nerve cells that are present in the hypothalamus stimulates the production of the hormones. The maintenance of proper production of all the hormones is done by the gland. One set of the nerve cells transports the hormones produced by hypothalamus to the pituitary stalk from where the hormone is transported to the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland. These hormones (ADH and oxytocin) are then released in the bloodstream.

Answer:

Option (C).

Explanation:

Luria Bertani is a rich nutritional medium generally used for the growth of bacteria. This media was created by Giuseppe Bertani.

Bacteria shows slow growth on blood but can grow grow easily in LB agar because they have complex and extensive requirement that cannot be met by LB agar. Blood agar is more enriched media and can grow the bacteria that are dependent upon the host organism.

Thus, the correct answer is option (C).

What is the difference between adhesion, cohesion and surface tension? Which would be used in a xylem? Which would enable an ins
azamat

Cohesion, adhesion and surface tension are different from each other. Adhesion is used in xylem. Surface tension enables an insect to sit on water.

Explanation:

The force of attraction between the molecules of the same type is called cohesion. The force of attraction between the molecules of different type is called adhesion. Tendency of fluid surfaces to shrink to minimum possible area due to the attraction between the liquid molecules is called surface tension.

Adhesion is used in xylem. In xylem water molecules move from the roots to different parts of the plant through the xylem tubes. The adhesive force between the water molecules and xylem walls make the movement of water possible.

Surface tension enables an insect to sit on the surface of a liquid. Due to surface tension the water surface stretches like a membrane due to the higher attractive force between the water molecules.

the illustration shows a scale model of a pond in a local park the scale is 1:21 the model shows the pond is 3 cm deep. How deep
pentagon [3]

Answer:

Option D, 63 cm

Explanation:

The scale of model is of local park is 1:21

This means that each dimension of the model is 21 times smaller than the actual park (to be developed in future)

Given -

Depth of the pond = 3 centi meter

Depth of the real pond will be 21 times of the depth of the model.

Thus , real pond's depth is equal to

= 3 * 21\\= 63 cm

Hence, option D is correct

DENIUS [597]
One of the major functions of erythrocytes (also known as red blood cells) is to carry blood gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide around the body. Red blood cells contain the pigment haemoglobin which binds to oxygen and carries it around the body, releasing it and allowing the process of aerobic respiration.
