Why is dna replication said to be semi-conservative
Neko [114]

During DNA Replication, the DNA molecule unzips itself so that there are two free strands of DNA. Both of those strands then create new complementary strands of DNA. Thus every subsequent generation of DNA uses one of the parent cell's strand of DNA as a template, which is why DNA replication is said to be semi-conservative. Hope this helped!

After crossing purebred red (dominant) and purebred white (recessive) flowers, pink flowers appeared. Using symbols, show the cr
-Dominant- [34]
Since after crossing a red and a white flower produced pink flowers, the red color trait shows an incomplete dominance and has a genotype of Rr.
Using the Punnett to determine the cross between pink and white flowers:
 | R | r |
r | Rr | rr |
r | Rr | rr |

The results indicate that the cross between pink and white flowers will produce a ratio of 1:1

Importance of channel proteins and carrier proteins
NISA [10]
Channel protein is important because it is embedded in the membrane and it also covers the membrane. This is important because the channel must transport the micromolecules and ions in and out of the cell. Carrier proteins are important because the carrier must transport the molecule in and out of the cell.

Fructose is? also known as dextrose. the sweetest of the sugars. abundant in whole grains. a starch. known as milk sugar.
Elina [12.6K]

Dextrose and fructose are both types of sugar. the sugar with the best flavor. plenty of whole grains. the starch. called milk sugar.

It is also found naturally in other plant foods such as honey, sugar beets, sugar cane, and vegetables. Fructose is the sweetest naturally occurring carbohydrate, 1.2 to 1.8 times more sweeter than sucrose (table sugar). is the sweetness of Fructose metabolism does not require insulin and has little effect on blood sugar levels. There are many different types of sugar, some more common than others. Fructose, like glucose, is a type of sugar known as a simple sugar or "simple sugar". Monosaccharides can be combined to form disaccharides, the most common of which is sucrose, or "sugar." Sucrose is made up of 50% fructose and 50% glucose. Fructose and glucose have the same chemical formula (C6H12O6), but due to their different molecular structures, fructose is 1.2 to 1.8 times sweeter than sucrose. In fact, fructose is the sweetest natural carbohydrate.

In nature, fructose is most commonly found as a component of sucrose. Fructose is also found in plants as a simple sugar, but that doesn't mean other sugars don't exist.

A cloud directly above you is about 10° across. From the weather report, you know that the cloud is at an altitude of 2200 m. Ho
Vikentia [17]

The width of the cloud is : 384 m

Given data :

Cloud altitude = 2200 m

Temperature = 10°

Determine how wide the cloud is

applying the equation below

I = d(\frac{\alpha }{57.3})

where : I = linear size , d = 2200 m , \alpha = 10^{o}

therefore :

I = 2200 ( 10 / 57.3 )

= 383.94 m

≈ 384 m

Hence we can conclude that the width of the cloud is : 384 m
