People of color vs colored people? How the social interaction is changed depending on this phrase ?
Natali [406]
People of color is more used as if someone might be mulatto, or might have colour. People of colour is more used for anyone that isn't white/in a minority group, including Asians. The both can have the same meaning, someone who haw a lot a melanin that usually isn't white, and coloured people is more someone that is not white. I hope that makes since.

The social interaction can change because when you think of the word, coloured people, that is something more associated with things like lynching, racial discrimination, slavery, The Trail of Tears, etc., this topic can make certain people uncomfortable changing the atmosphere of the conversation. If you say people of colour, it applies on a broader stand than just the races that were discriminated in America (African-Americans, Latinos,Japanese people, people from the  Middle East, Native Americans, the list goes on and on and on, like, never ending...) but to a broader stance of people of colour around the world, which can be more interesting, with culture, wanting to visit, and sometimes cultural appropriation and topics like that, but still!

Hope this helps! ️

lara31 [8.8K]

Hieroglyphic script on public and religious monuments was the characters were pictures carved in stone.

The Greeks labeled as hieroglyphic the script found on temple walls and public monuments in Egypt, in which the characters were pictures carved in stone.

The first hieroglyphics were primarily used by priests to record important events such as wars or stories about their many gods and Pharaohs, and they were typically used to decorate temples and tombs. The ancient Egyptians are thought to have invented the hieroglyphic writing system around 3000 BC.

Because hieroglyphic signs depicted images of living beings or inanimate objects, they were closely related to the fine arts.

Eva8 [605]

Answer:

<em>Mitigate her damages</em>

Explanation:

A breach of contract involves the violation of any part of a signed agreement between two parties. For example, when a tenant destroys a property, he/ she has violated the contract with the house owner.

<h3>Duty to Mitigate.</h3>

When there is a breach of contract, one of the two parties normally suffers damages, and he/she has a legal obligation to sue for mitigating damages. This minimizes the effect that the contract breach might have caused the person.

Valerie contracts Esteban for a project capable of destroying her land if not done properly and quickly. A breach of contract leads to the project been abandoned and if damages are done on the land, <em>Valerie is under a legal obligation to mitigate her damages through the court.</em>
