The manager frame of reference that best describes Doug's style is AUTOCRATIC management style.
In autocratic management style, the leader does not take into consideration the subordinates' ideas and suggestions. The leader has the sole responsibility of making decisions which must be obeyed without any question from the subordinates.

babunello [35]

Answer: C) Frank is an outside director on Lofloy's board of directors.

Explanation:

As Frank has a full time employment position as a senior manager at Spinson Locomotives, he is most likely an outside director on Lofloy's board of directors.

Outside directors are those members of the board in a company that are not employed by the company which Frank isn't.

Outside directors like Frank are thought to be more impartial in decision making and for this reason companies are usually required to have a certain number of them sitting on the board.

Scenario 10 Suppose that in Country A, one worker per day can produce either 120 units of food or 50 units of capital goods; whi
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

1) country A has a comparative advantage in production of capital goods.

2) for country A 24 units of food can be traded for 10 units of capital goods,

for country B 30 units of food can be traded for 10 units of capital goods.

Explanation:

country A has a comparative advantage in production of capital goods because they have been able to produce more capital goods with the same amount of input (worker) than country B.

For country A, 120 units of food = 50 units of capital goods, therefore

10 units of capital good will be traded for (120 x 10)/50 = 24 units of food.

for country B 90 units of food is equivalent to 30 units of capital goods, therefore,

(90 x 10)/30 = 30 units of food

A delivery company is considering adding another vehicle to its delivery fleet; each vehicle is rented for $100 per day. Assume
tangare [24]

Answer:

a. What is the MRP?

marginal revenue product = marginal product of labor x marginal revenue per output unit

MRP = 1,500 packages x $0.10 per package = $150

marginal resource cost (MRC) = $100 (the cost of renting the delivery truck)

The company should add the delivery truck because MRP is higher than MRC.

b. Now suppose that the cost of renting a vehicle doubles to $200 per day. What are the MRP and MRC in this situation?

MRP = $150 (doesn't change from question a)

MRC = $200 (the cost of renting the delivery truck)

The company should not add the delivery truck because MRP is less than MRC.

c. Next suppose that the cost of renting a vehicle falls back down to $100 per day, but, due to extremely congested freeways, an additional vehicle would only be able to deliver 750 packages per day. What are the MRP and MRC in this situation?

MRP = 750 packages x $0.10 per package = $75

MRC = $100

The company should not add the delivery truck because MRP is less than MRC.

GDP = consumption + investment + government spending + net exports
