A helpful advice that Diana would likely give Susie base on her knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease is that to prevent a person from developing this disease, a person should engage in cognitive tasks. Diana should advice Susie to engage in tasks that involves challenging her cognitive memory in which she must do frequently.

But since Susie is still in her early forties, and is concerned about her own cognitive functioning, Diana can help her by advising her that she must not worry. The onset of Alzheimer’s happens in the 65th year. Early onset in the form of dementia strikes people younger than 65 but it is very minimal at 5%. To prevent the disease, Diana must advise her aunt Susie to eat foods with plenty of omega-3 fats. Food sources include salmon, tuna, mackerel, seaweed, and sardines or supplements with fish oil.

"Roberto has just moved to a new city. He does not know anyone but he wants to find a mosque where he can practice Islam. Which
Nikolay [14]

Roberto will use rational choice theory to make the decision.

Explanation:

The act or process of understanding and modelling the economic and social behavior is known as the rational action theory or the rational choice theory. The theory generally predicts the pattern of choices and its outcome.

Here in the given excerpt, Roberto moved in to a new city and he wanted to find a mosque in order to practice Islam. From this we can infer that he chose to practice a religion and therefore he wanted to find worshiping place to practice (here he shows the understanding of the social behavior).

Therefore, we can conclude that Roberto exhibited the theory of rational choice to make a decision.

Natasha2012 [34]

Answer:

a. countercultures

Explanation:

In sociology, the term counterculture refers to the subcultures whose values, norms and attitudes go against the ones from the mainstream culture. In other words, countercultures oppose and go against the values and norms established by the dominant culture.

We can see that delinquents, social dropouts and militia movements have ideas, norms and behaviors that greatly differ from the dominant culture where they develop, therefore they can be considered an example of a. countercultures.
