When a person is using a microscope is it very important to use the proper lighting. Each specimen is different and some need to be looked at with different shades of light. When using a conventional light microscope, light is used is aimed upwards at the lens. This light is underneath the condenser. The person using the light can see things that other microscopes can't because of the pigmentation that is natural. They will also be able to see things not normally seen because of the thickness of the stain that is usually colourless. The light helps to absorb the thickness. Many times, living bacteria will not show up at all. It will only show up by using maximum contract of light. The knob that is on microscopes will help to adjust the lighting to see various stains on the slides. Using the light microscopes will show up very small objects that can't be seen with other types of microscopes. Lighted microscopes are a very important tool in research labs, schools, etc.

You observe two breeding female fish of the same species. One female lays 100 eggs and the other female lays 1,000 eggs. Which o
makvit [3.9K]

The correct option is (C) The eggs from the female laying 1,000 eggs have larger yolks than the yolks of the eggs from the female laying 100 eggs.

The sequence of survival and reproduction events characteristic for a member of the species is known as the life history of the species (essentially, its lifecycle).

  • Natural selection drives the evolution of life cycle patterns, which are a "optimization" of trade-offs between growth, survival, and reproduction.
  • The quantity of eggs laid by female fish during reproduction may vary, but it doesn't provide accurate information if the eggs from the female that lays less eggs have more yolk.
  • Given that the fitness factor remains the same, the quantity of eggs laid does not necessarily correspond to the amount of yolk in the eggs.

Why do all nuclei undergo mitosis at the same time?
Anastaziya [24]
An organism has syncytial nuclei, which leads to parasynchronous or synchronous mitosis and therefore, multiple nuclei undergo the process of mitosis at the same time. This happens to the nuceli present in one cytoplasm, i.e., one cell.

How can a poly genic trait be easily identified
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer: The presence of the polygenic trait masks the other possible alleles involved. There are only two possible phenotypes for the trait. The graphing of the possible phenotypes results in a bell curve. Usually, traits are polygenic when there is wide variation in the trait. For example, humans can be many different sizes. Height is a polygenic trait, controlled by at least three genes with six alleles. If you are dominant for all of the alleles for height, then you will be very tall.
