A line includes the points (-3, 8)and (-1, 2). What is its equation in slope- intercept form
Natasha_Volkova [10]
Solve for slope first:
m = \frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1}

m = \frac{2-8}{-1-(-3)} = -3

then solve for b in y = mx + b

8 = -3(-3) + b
b = -1

y = -3x - 1
