Try and eat dry foods in smaller portions starting out, and as you feel better increase portion size and bring richer foods into your diet. Introduce a diet called the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, dry toast) to start with, because they are easily digestible, bland foods. When you are drinking, take small sips. Start with a sip every hour, and the more often you keep them down you can drink more frequently and maybe drink more, but if you throw up you must restart with small sips hourly.
