The answer is reactivity. Reactivity refers to when a person knows he is being observed and changes his behavior to make a good impression.

EXPLANATION

Reactivity is a situation that can occur when an individual alter or change their behavior because they have the awareness that they are being watched and observed. The change of their behavior can either be negative or positive, it depends on the situation that they are in. Reactivity is a significant threat to psychological studies, especially with participant observation as a method. To handle reactivity, usually, researchers use blind experiment designs for their research.

There are some forms of reactivity, such as the Hawthorne effect and the John Henry effect. The Hawthorne effect refers to a situation where the study participants change their performance and behavior because they know that they are being watched and that they receive attention from the experimenters. Meanwhile, the John Henry effect is when the participants that are in the control group know that they are in the control group, so they change their behavior according to the research.

Reactivity can happen not only because they are being observed by the researcher, but it can also happen because the individuals want to fulfill the researcher’s expectation of the research. This can happen if the researcher directly or indirectly communicates what would they expect for the result of the research. This incident also is known as the experimenter effect.

HELP PLEASEREEEEEEEEE
Sonbull [250]

The correct answer is False.

Explanation

Hieroglyphs were a writing system invented by the ancient Egyptians that was used from pre-dynastic times (3300 BC to 3150 BC) to the 4th century (300 AD). Hieroglyphs are the oldest organized writing system in the world. Its main use was to make official inscriptions on the walls of temples and tombs. On the other hand, The Middle Kingdom of Egypt includes a period from the year 2050 a. C. - 1750 a. From the above, it can be concluded that during the Middle Kingdom of Egypt the hieroglyphs were not developed for the first time because they were developed a long time before, about a thousand years before. So the answer is False.
