Hyperparathyroidism is the condition in which there is excess parathyroid hormone, responsible for the balance of calcium, vitamin D and phosphorus present in the blood and tissues that need these nutrients, such as bones, for example. This hormone is produced by the four parathyroid glands, which are the size of a grain of rice and are located in each of the quadrants of the thyroid gland present in the neck.

As has been said, hyperparathyroidism is caused by overworking at least one of the parathyroid glands, which results in an excess of calcium in the blood, so it is not recommended that the client with this disease increase fluid and calcium, because that wouldn't help at all.
