Ok so

area=1/2 times base times height
lets say base and height=3 for one triangle and
base and height=6 for another
area1=1/2 times 3 times 3=9/2
area2=1/2 tmes 6 times 6=18
areas are

9/2 to 18=9:36=1:4
3:6=1:2
is 1:2=1:4? no

ratio is 1:4

The area of a trapezoid can be calculated by using the formula A=1/2w(b+c). Which expression can be used to caculate the length
slavikrds [6]

Answer:

c = 2A/w - b

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a trapezoid can be calculated by using the formula A=1/2w(b+c). Which expression can be used to caculate the length , c, parallel sides to b

A = 1/2 × w (b + c)

Solving for c

Divide both sides by 1/2

A/1/2 = w (b + c)

2A = w (b + c)

Divide both sides by w

2A/w = b + c

Making c the subject of the formula

c = 2A/w - b

The expression that can be used to calculate the length , c, parallel sides to b is :

c = 2A/w - b
