To be able to conduct an experiement and draw meaninful conclusions, we should have variables we can work with. In this case, as the scientist tries to study how the temperature of a baseball affects the distance it travels, A meaningful variable would be to check the distance travelled by the same baseball at different temperatures.

Therefore, it is essential to have an experimental variable to be able to reacreate and repeat the experiements time and again

It's a hot day at the beach! You look at your portable thermometer, which says it's 30.C. What is the temperature in Fahrenheit
Andrews [41]
The question above is simply a conversion problem. We are asked to convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit and to Kelvin. To convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit, we do as follows:

°F = (°C × 9/5) + 32
°F = (30 × 9/5) + 32
°F = 86

From Celsius to Kelvin,

K = °C + 273.15
K = 30 + 273.15 = 303.15
