Solution, 30\%\:\mathrm{of}\:150:\quad 45

Steps:

\mathrm{Convert\:}30\%\mathrm{\:into\:a\:decimal\:and\:multiply\:by\:}150, \mathrm{Percent} =30\%\:

\mathrm{In\:order\:to\:convert\:a\:percent\:to\:a\:ratio,\:divide\:it\:by\:100}:\quad \:a\%=\frac{a}{100},  a=30, 30\%\:=\frac{30}{100}

\mathrm{Convert\:to\:decimal\:form}, =0.3

\mathrm{Multiply\:}0.3\mathrm{\:by\:}150, =0.3\cdot \:150

\mathrm{Simplify}\:0.3\cdot \:150, =45

Hope This Helps!!!

The easiest way to find percentages of numbers is to change the percentage to a decimal and multiply it by the number.

30%=0.3

150*0.3=45

30% of 150 is 45.

I hope this helps :)

Reil [10]
Given the data below <span>representing the body mass index (bmi) values for 20 females.
17.7     33.5     26.9     22.7     22.2     29.9     23.6     18.3     27.7     23.4     19.2     25.9     22.9     37.7     31.6     28.1     44.9     31.6     25.2     23.9

From the data above, we construct a frequency distribution beginning with a lower class limit of 15.0 and use a class width of 6.0 as follows:

Class iinterval: 15.0 - 21.0   21.0 - 27.0   27.0 - 33.0   33.0 - 39.0   39.0 - 45.0
Frequency:              3                  9                  5                   2                  1

From the frequency table, it can be seen that the frequencies started low, increased to a point and then decrease. It can also be seen that the highest frequency of the data is not at the center of the distribution, so the distribution is not symetric.

Therefore, the frequency distribution does not appear to be roughly a normal distribution, because, "although the frequency start low, increase to some maximum, then decrease, the distribution is not symmetric."</span>

myrzilka [38]
Hello! So, you use 120 pieces of fabric. You could not use all 120 pieces, because you can not make a square. The most you could use to make a square is 100. That would be 10 squares a row, with a side length of 6, which would make a perimeter of 60. Then, the other side would be 60. So 60 * 60 is 3600. The area of the blanket is 3600 square inches.
