The area of a rectangle is it's length times it's height. We are given polynomials for these values, so we can multiply them using the FOIL method to find the area.

FOIL stands for Firsts, Outers, Inners, Lasts. This means we multiply the first term of each polynomial together, the outer terms together, the inner terms together, and the last terms together.

(2x+5)(x-2)

The first terms are 2x and x, the outer terms are 2x and -2, the inner terms are 5 and x, and the last terms are 5 and -2:

2x^2 - 4x +5x - 10

Combine like terms:

2x^2 + x - 10

The third option is the correct answer.

HELP QUICKLY PLEASE!!!
storchak [24]

9,11,13,20

20 -9 = 11

Range: 11 so its not 17

11 + 13 = 24

24/2 = 12

Median: 12 so its not 10

9+ 11 + 13 + 20 = 53

53/4= 13.25

Mean: 13.25 so its not 12

IQR: 6.5 so its not 7 or 12

I rlly rlly rlly need help! Complete the following proof. Given: Points R, S, T, Q on circle O Prove: m\overarc RS + m\overarc S
harina [27]

Answer:

m(\widehat {RS})+m(\widehat{ST})+m(\widehat{TQ}) + m(major\ arc RQ) = 360\ degree

Step-by-step explanation:

As we can see in the figure that

The R, S, T ,and Q are the points on the circle O.

Also

The measurement of the circular arc is equivalent to the measurement of the angle at the center of the arc

So by this

m(\widehat{RS})=m(\angle ROS)

m(\widehat{ST})=m(\angle SOT)

m(\widehat{TQ})=m(\angle TOQ)

m(major arc RQ) = m(∠QOR)

So,

m(\widehat {RS})+m(\widehat{ST})+m(\widehat{TQ}) + m(major\ arc RQ) = m(\angle ROS)+m(\angle SOT)+m(\angle TOQ)+m(\angle QOR)

And as we know that

All angles sum = 360°

Therefore

m(\widehat {RS})+m(\widehat{ST})+m(\widehat{TQ}) + m(major\ arc RQ) = 360\ degree
