The blood is a tissue that is formed basically of plasma and cells, some nutrients and some hormones. The main function of it is the transportation of oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the cells of the body trough all the veins and arteries. At the same time meanwhile is passing in different organs and tissues, is collecting the carbon dioxide that is one of the body wastes to the lungs and then to outside human body.

In the blood there are some hormones but they are not produce in the blood.
