The LCM is the lowest number that is a multiple of all three numbers. 
First, list the multiples of each number
8: 8, 16, 24, 32,40 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, 104, 112, 120
10: 10, 20, 30 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120
12: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108, 120

The LCM is 120 because there is no lower number that is a multiple of all three numbers.
