Answer: $84

Step-by-step explanation:

Since child tickets cost $4, and there are 6 children, multiply 7 and 4.

7 x 4 = 28

Then, since adult tickets are $8 each and there are 7 adults, multiply 7 and 8.

7 x 8 = 56

Add the two totals together: 56 and 28.

56 + 28 = 84

So, the movie tickets will cost $84 in all.

irina [24]

Answer:

$9500

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, Option A: Hourly wage is $19 and the salesperson works 40 hours per week. So, he will earn in a week= 19 X 40 = $760

Now, according to option b, he will get 8% commission on weekly sales.

Let. x = the amount of weekly sales.

To earn the same amount of option A, he will have to equal the 8% of x to $760

So, 8x/100= 760

Or, 8x= 76000

Or, x= 76000/8= 9,500

the salesman needs to make a weekly sales of $9,500 to earn the same amount with two options.

andreyandreev [35.5K]
The answer is 19

work :

1-multiply the numbers by a submultiple of 10 to remove the decimal points.
17.1 \times 10 = 171 \\ \\ 0.9 \times 10 = 9

2-

now do the division :
171 \div 9 = 19

so the answer is 19

note: there is no need to get it back to decimal number unless you multiply just one of the numbers or multiply the numbers with different submultiples of 10

good luck
