4-1 Discussion: Technology and Identity Through the Four Lenses For this discussion, you will connect a technology-related issue
to identity. Support your argument with evidence from the learning resources, using appropriate APA or MLA standards. Be sure to address the following in your initial post: What is your selected issue? Provide a description. Which of the four lenses most obviously relates to your issue? How? Which of the four lenses least obviously relates to your issue? How? In what ways could this latter lens actually benefit your understanding of the issue? In responding to your peers, address the following: What are some of the behaviors associated with this issue? Consider unintended racism, control, predictability, and so on. What are the positive and negative impacts of the behaviors on the issue? Consider the four lenses and the readings. What are some possible solutions that could be considered?
The answer in the first sentence above is hypothesis because it is defined as having to state a prediction or conjecture in regards about an experiment whereas the second sentence' answer is experimental question because researchers tend to state what they plan to do in regards of their investigation and they do not apply any predictions in the experiment.
