Put this equation into slope- intercept form. -2x + 3y = 9
AveGali [126]

Answer:

y = 2/3x + 3

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to put it in slope intercept form (y = mx + b), y needs to be isolated.

Add 2x to both sides:

-2x + 3y = 9

3y = 2x + 9

Then, divide both sides of the equation by 3.

3y = 2x + 9

y = 2/3x + 3 is the equation in slope intercept form

Please help thanks so much.
Alik [6]
You can see if they are similar by looking at the sides.

If each of the sides have the same proportion then they are similar.

24/3 = 8
32/4 = 8
112/14 = 8

Yes they are similar and their ratio is 1:8

Hope this helps :)
