A cube is a 6-sided figure. All edges of the cube are congruent, and all angles are congruent. Since all of the edges are congruent, this means that all sides of each face are congruent. Since all angles are congruent, they all equal 90°. A two-dimensional figure whose sides are congruent and angles are all 90° is a square; this means each face is a square.
