Answer: m=-1

                    m-(-(4+m)+2)=0

1.1     Pull out like factors :

  2m + 2  =   2 • (m + 1)

2.1      Solve :    2   =  0

2.2      Solve  :    m+1 = 0  

Subtract  1  from both sides of the equation :  

                     m = -1
