Hello!

As you can see, 3x+9 makes a right angle, or 90 degrees. We can turn this into an equation and solve for x.

3x+9=90

First we subtract 9 from both sides.

3x=81

Then divide both sides by 3.

x=27

Therefore, x=27.

I hope this helps!

2 miles = 1/2 hour (a whole hour is 60 mins so half of that is 30 mins) 1 mile = 15 mins (15 mins is half of 30 mins) so yes its true

Answer:

5,50,500,5000,50000

Step-by-step explanation:

The first term is given

a1 =5

The second term is when n=2

a2 = 10 * a1 = 10 * 5 = 50

The third term is when n=3

a3 = 10 * a2 = 10 * 50 = 500

The fourth term is when n=4

a4 = 10 * a3 = 10 * 500 = 5000

The fifth term is when n=5

a5 = 10 * a4 = 10 * 5000 = 50000

Answer:

-2x² + 10x - 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression 2(5x+3)−2(x^2 −3)

Expand

2(5x+3)−2(x^2 −3)

= 2(5x)+2(3) -2(x²)-2(-3)

=  10x + 6 - 2x²+6

= 10x -2x²+12

Express in standard form

= -2x² + 10x - 12
