Need some more info, what are the dimensions of the bricks?
Think of this as a proportion: 2.4 is to 100, as 34 is to L ("L" for "Long piece.")
Cross multiply to get 2.4 L = 3400, then divide both sides by 2.4 to be left with
L = 3400/2.4, so
L = 1416.666...
So the longer piece of wood is 1,416.66... inches long.
