Do you mean how you can tell between an area formula and a volume formula? Well usually like on a reference sheet it says the shape and the letter a or v, a representing area and v representing volume. I hope this helps, if it doesn't please tell me in the comment section

<span>C = 2pi*r, the r represents a length
A = pi*r^2 the r^2 represents a product of length*length which is area
V = (4/3)pi*r^3 the r^3 represents a product of length*length*length which is volume, a sphere</span>

( this is for a circle)

Answer:

A) y=5x+9 B) -5x+y=9

Step-by-step explanation:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-(-1)=5(x-(-2))

This geometry problem is confusing me.Find the area, and use 3.14 for the value of pi.
wolverine [178]

Explanation

In the image, we are given the diameter of the circle as 20 mi. The area of the circle will be calculated as;

Area=\pi(\frac{d}{2})^2=3.14\times(\frac{20}{2})^2=3.14\times10^2=3.14\times100=314mi^2

Answer

314mi^2

How do i solve this answer ugh please help
babunello [35]
Separate the quadratic functions into two individual function in x which multiply together to equal the original quadratic.
Eg: x^2-3x-10=0       can be written as (x+2)(x-5)=0
The two solutions for x can then be determined by making each bracket equal to zero.
x+2=0 so x=-2x-5=0 so x=5
