What kind of process can create rogue waves?

Physics

Constructive interference due to the summation of various waves of different periods and or phases coming together at a certain moment and place. Although not rogue waves if you go to a beach and look at the surf for awhile you will notice that every so often there is an unusually large wave coming in demonstrating this process on a smaller scale.

Suppose you were asked to demonstrate electromagnetic induction. Which of the following situations will result in an electric cu
Serggg [28]
The correct answer is "All of the above".

In fact, electromagnetic induction occurs when there is a change of the magnetic flux through the area enclosed by a circuit (in this case, the area enclosed by the wire loop).
The magnetic flux \Phi_B through a certain surface is given by
\Phi_B=B A cos \theta (1)
Where B is the intensity of the magnetic field, A is the area enclosed by the circuit and \theta is the angle between the direction of the field B and the perpendicular to the area.

In the first situation, the magnet is getting closer to the loop, so the magnetic flux through the area enclosed by the wire is increasing (because the intensity of the magnetic field B is increasing). Situation 2) is the opposite case: the wire loop is moving away from the magnet, so the intensity of the magnetic field B is decreasing, and therefore the magnetic flux is decreasing as well.
Finally, in the third situation the wire loop is rotating. Here the distance between the loop and the magnet is not changing, but remember that the magnetic flux depends also on the angle between the direction of the magnetic field and the perpendicular (formula 1), and so since the wire loop is rotating, than this angle is changing, therefore the magnetic flux is changing as well.

A 290-turn solenoid having a length of 32 cm and a diameter of 11 cm carries a current of 0.30 A. Calculate the magnitude of the
iris [78.8K]

The magnitude of the magnetic field inside the solenoid is 3.4×10^(-4) T.

To find the answer, we need to know about the magnetic field inside the solenoid.

What's the expression of magnetic field inside a solenoid?

 • Mathematically, the expression of magnetic field inside the solenoid= μ₀×n×I
 • n = no. of turns per unit length and I = current through the solenoid

What's is the magnetic field inside the solenoid here?

 • Here, n = 290/32cm or 290/0.32 = 906

I= 0.3 A

 • So, Magnetic field= 4π×10^(-7)×906×0.3 = 3.4×10^(-4) T.

Thus, we can conclude that the magnitude of the magnetic field inside the solenoid is 3.4×10^(-4) T.

What is the SPEED of a ball that travels 120 m in 6s?
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

20m/second

Explanation:

The reason the answer is 20m/second is because to find the speed of the ball in this question you have to divide the distance over the time giving you the result of 20m/second
