Armenia is located in west Asia. They have been there for around 2,600-3000 years until genocide happened in 1914. Although, they weren’t really recognized as a country until 1994 I believe.
1) They could've tried to defend the European Explorers to not set foot on there land, even though they might've all died in war.
2) Horrible, they got there first, its theirs, and they don't deserve the diseases the Europeans do, they can stay to their religion, and its not a big deal.

My research shows that the domestication of plants started around 9,000 years ago. Fig trees, variety of wheat and peas in the Near East were first 9,000 years ago. Barley and chickpeas around 8,500 years ago. These were followed by rice in asia 8,000 years ago along with potatoe, beans and squash in Central and South America also around 8,000 years ago.
