 If length AM = AK then it is isosceles.

M(-1,-6), A(-4,5)

AM=((5-(-6))²+(-4-(-1)))^(1/2)=11.401

A(-4,5) and K(5,-2)

AK=((-2-5)²+(5+4)²)^(1/2)=11.401

so the triangle is isosceles.

X^2(x^2+3x+2)plzz help me
agasfer [191]

The zeros for this function are -2, -1 and a double root of 0.

You can find this by first factoring the polynomial on the inside of the parenthesis. Polynomials like this can be factored by looking for two numbers that multiply to the constant (2) and add up to the second coefficient (3). The numbers 2 and 1 satisfy both of those needs and thus can be used as the numbers in a factoring.

x^2(x^2 + 3x + 2)

x^2(x + 2)(x + 1)

Now to find the zeros, we set each part equal to 0. You may want to split the x^2 into two separate x's for this purpose.

(x)(x)(x + 2)(x + 1)

x = 0

x = 0

x + 2 = 0

x = -2

x + 1 = 0

x = -1

1. Identify the RATE OF CHANGE and INITIAL VALUE from
Jet001 [13]

Here, Rate of change means Slope and initial value means y-intercept. The equations given above are written in slope-intercept intercept form i.e.

\bf \: y = mx + b

Where,

  • m is slope
  • b is the y-intercept

\tt \: y = 3x + 6

  • Rate of change = 3
  • Initial value = 6

\tt \: y =  - 7x + 5

  • Rate of change = -7
  • Initial value = 5

\tt \: y = 9x + 4

  • Rate of change = 9
  • Initial value = 4
