The Adams-Onis Treaty was a treaty between the United States and Spain in 1819, which also known as the Transcontinental Treaty or the Florida Purchase Treaty. The treaty is all about the boundary of the United States and New Spain but then there is one element that doesn’t include on this treaty like, the United States gained control of the Texas territory from France.
