Yes totally! I am home schooled and i am going to my best friends prom. Check with their school rules. If it is a surprise for them email a teacher anyone will do and explain that you don't go to the school but you want to go with a friend who does. It just might cost a little extra money. My prom ticket is 105 and hers is 85....

Yeah, I think you just need to get permission from the school itself. I have seen people do it before at my old school. I would ask your friend and see if they could talk to someone about it.

How many grams of a solution that is 5.2% sucrose by mass are needed to obtain 18g of sucrose
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

346.g of solution

Explanation:

In this case, if we have 5.2 % by mass it means that in 100 g of the solution we will have 5.2 g of glucose. Therefore we can do the calculation:

5.2 g of glucose = 100 g of solution

18~g~of~glucose\frac{100~g~of~solution}{5.2~g~of~glucose}=346.15~g~of~solution

So, if we need 8 g of glucose we had to have 346.15 g of solution

This logic can work for all types of solutions. By mass (as in this case), by volume or mass/volume.

I hope it helps!

Answer:

The answer to your question is below

Explanation:

Material Classification Reason

Crude oil Mixture Because we know that crude oil

                                                                 is composed of different substances.

Butane Compound Because it is composed of carbon

                                                                 and hydrogen

Dodecane Compound Because it is composed of carbon

                                                                and hydrogen.

Octane Compound Because it is composed of carbon and

                                                                 hydrogen.

Benzene Compound It is also composed of carbon and

                                                                 hydrogen.

Gasoline Mixture It is a combination of hydrocarbons

Kerosene Mixture It is a combination of hydrocarbons

Oxygen Element We can find it in the periodic table.

Carbon dioxide Compound It is composed of carbon and oxygen.

Water Compound It is composed of hydrogen and

                                                                  oxygen.

Which locations are likely to have subatomic particles with the least mass?
rusak2 [61]

Answer:

2 and 3 because there are the protons and neutrons which have a greater mass than the electrons which are found in the locations 1 and 4. The atom contains a nucleus, which is made from protons and neutrons, and electrons which are found around the nucleus. The mass of the atoms is concentrated in the very tiny space represented by the nucleus. Of course the electrons have a mass too, but is very small compared to the protons and neutrons, and we usually neglect its mass.

What is the mass of 0.25 mol of sulfur atom
tatiyna

Answer:

8.0 g

Explanation:

To convert moles to grams, you need to use the molar mass. The molar mass of sulfur is 32.06. The molar mass is the atomic mass of the atom.

(0.25 mol) × (32.06 g/mol) = 8.015 g

Round for significant figures.

8.015 g ≈ 8.0 g
