To be honest, since we live on Earth (assuming you do as well), Earth is the easiest planet to study. We don't know much about the other planets because we've never been to any of them. I believe that the second easiest planet to study is either Uranus or Saturn.

GUYS I RLLY RLLY RLLY NEED HELP! Describe the view if you were to stand in the penumbra of a lunar eclipse.
Artemon [7]

Answer:

From within the Moon's penumbra, a partial solar eclipse can be seen. Like any other opaque objects illuminated by a light source, the Moon and the Earth cast shadows into space as they block the sunlight that hits them. Each shadow has three different areas: the umbra, the penumbra, and the antumbra.

If the cell grows beyond a certain limit, not enough material will be able to cross the membrane fast enough to accommodate the increased cellular volume. When this happens, the cell must divide into smaller cells with favorable surface area/volume ratios, or cease to function. That is why cells are so small.

simpler answer: Cells are small because they need to keep a surface area to volume ratio that allows for appropriate intake of nutrients while being able to eliminate the cells waste.
