To get the answer, you need to multiply the scale factor with the coordinate(In this case its P).So u need to multiply 6(x coordinate) X 3(Scale factor)= 18
and 2 X 3 = 6.....the Answer is D (18,6).....hope this helps.

bezimeni [28]

Answer:

5.14

Step-by-step explanation:

The way i solved this was i found the length of the line by taking the 2 (Width and also "A") and the 7 (The height and also "B"), squared both of them and added them together. Then found the square root. Sense i suck at explaining things this is what the equation should have looked like. \sqrt{(2^{2} +7^{2}) ÷ 2. (Side wait for someone else to answer because i'm 70% sure this is right.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP !! The translation below is used on all three triangles.
slava [35]

Answer:

D

Step-by-step explanation:

They all move 1 unit up.

The mapping notation essentially tells you, what you do to each point to get the image point.

In this case (x,y)→(x,y+1) is telling you, for any given coordinate on the original, you add 1 to its y coordinate. Adding 1 to a y coordinate moves it up one unit.

Gennadij [26K]
25x^2+5x-12=0 \\
25x^2-15x+20x-12=0 \\
5x(5x-3)+4(5x-3)=0 \\
(5x+4)(5x-3)=0 \\
5x+4=0 \ \lor \ 5x-3=0 \\
5x=-4 \ \lor \ 5x=3 \\
x=-\frac{4}{5} \ \lor \ x=\frac{3}{5} \\
\boxed{x=-\frac{4}{5} \hbox{ or } x=\frac{3}{5}}
