Joan wants to jog 15 miles on a circular track 1/2 mile a diameter
skad [1K]

Answer:

7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

15/2

2 doesn't go into 1 so go over to the 15 and then 7 goes into 15 two times do subtract 15 and 14 and then you'll get one once you have 1 left over add a decimal next to the 7 on top right after that add a 0 next to the one then you'll get a 10 once you have a 10, you can know how much 2 goes into 10 which 5 and subtract 10 by it self then you'll get your answer 7.5

Find the unit rate please
maw [93]

Answer:

1 --> 26

5 --> 130

11 --> 286

24 --> 624

40 --> 1040

Step-by-step explanation:

to find unit rate divide 78 by 3 and you get 26 gallons, which means you can drive 26 miles with one gallon.

To find the amount of gallon for a certian number of miles, simply divide the number of miles by 26. Ex. 130/26 = 5 gallons

Match each system on the left with all words that describe the system on the right. Choices on the right can be used more than o
Brilliant_brown [7]

Allow me to review before I start.  Inconsistent means there's no solution to the system of simultaneous equations, i.e. parallel lines.  Consistent means there's at least one solution.  Independent and dependent apply to consistent systems.  The former means exactly one solution (two lines in different directions which meet).  Dependent means an infinite number of solution; the two lines are really the same line.

1. We have two different slopes, lines in two different directions, so they'll meet in exactly one place.  That system is consistent and independent, the usual case.

2. We can write the first one y-3x= -2 and the second y-3x=+2.  These are parallel lines that are different, so no solution: inconsistent.

3.  The first equation is x+2y=4, same as the second. An infinite number of solutions.  Consistent and dependent.
