Okay 3 inches = 4.5 feet or 4 feet 5 6 inches.

And the 3.5 = 5 feet 3 inches. I might be wrong so you should double check.

If the translation of (x,y)->(x-5, y+2) was applied to the triangle ABC below, what would be the coordinates for A' after the
Rainbow [258]

Answer: (-3,0)

To get this answer, we subtract 5 from the x coordinate and add 2 to the y coordinate. Point A is located at (x,y) = (2,-2) so we see that x = 2 and y = -2

Subtract 5 from the x coordinate: x-5 = 2-5 = -3. The new x coordinate is -3

Add 2 to the y coordinate: y+2 = -2+2 = 0. The new y coordinate is 0.

Therefore, using the rule (x,y) --> (x-5,y+2) has the mapping (2,-2) ---> (-3,0)

Find the common ratio for the following sequence .1, .01, .001
morpeh [17]

Answer:

0.1

Step-by-step explanation:

The common ratio of a sequence is the number you multiply one term to get the next one. Here, we multiply 0.1 by 0.1 to get 0.01, and 0.01 by 0.1 to get 0.001, so our common ratio is 0.1.

For accounting purposes, the value of assets (land, buildings, equipment) in a business are depreciated at a set rate per year.
lidiya [134]

Answer: $ 125987.80

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: The value, V(t) of $393,000 worth of assets after t years, that depreciate at 15% per year, is given by the formula

V (t)=V_o(b)^t, here V_o is the initial asset value and b is the multiplicative decay factor.

The exponential decay function is given by ;-

f(x)=A(b)^x, where A is the initial value , x is the times period and b is the multiplicative decay factor.

where b = 1-r, r is the rate of decay.

Since r = 15%=0.15

Therefore, b = 1-0.15=0.85

Now ,for 7 years , the value of assets is given by :-

V=393000(0.85)^7=125986.795\approx125987.80

Hence, the assets valued at after 7 years = $ 125987.80

Which variable expression represents the phrase “the quotient of 5 times a number and 2”?
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

5x/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Say the mystery number is "x"

5 times that = 5 * x = 5x

Then the quotient (that means the result of division, so divide!) of that and 2 would give you: 5x/2
