Answer:

100

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello! to calculate the number of tiles needed for the floor you need two things

1. number of tiles that fit across the width, this is achieved by dividing the total width by the width of each tile

Width=20ft=240in

N1=\frac{240}{24} =10

2.number of tiles that fit in the logitude, this is achieved by dividing the total length by the length of each tile.

leght=30ft=360in

N2=\frac{360}{36} =10

Finally, you multiply the number of tiles that fit in width by the number of tiles that fit in length.

N=10X10=100

Find the gradients of line a and b
34kurt

Answer:

3 and - 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the gradients using the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

Line A

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (0, - 2) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (1, 1) ← 2 points on the line

m = \frac{1+2}{1-0} = 3

Line B

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (1, 1) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (0, 5) ← 2 points on the line

m = \frac{5-1}{0-1} = \frac{4}{-1} = - 4

Use a flowchart to prove if the triangles in each pair of similar. NO LINKS!!!<br>
vekshin1

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Start

<F = <Q                     Given

<GPF = <RPQ           Vertically opposite angles

<FGP = <QRP            A triangle has 180 degrees. 2 equal angles means the third pair must be equal

Triangle GPF ~ Triangle RPQ   AAA

end

I don't see any way to make these triangles similar except by stating the statement and why it is so. There really are no yes / no choices. If you get another answer, choose it.

JL/LE = 90/27                 Given

KL /LD = 90/27               Given

<JLK = <DLK                   Vertically opposite

Are the ratios equal       Yes  Then is the angle included Yes

Then the triangles are similar.

Are the ratios not equal  No then the triangles cannot be similar

Is the angle not included  Then similarity cannot be proved.

ΔJLK ≈ ΔDLK                  Equal Ratios and included angle === similarity

Each unit on a coordinate plane represents 1 mile. One end of the road starts at (212,23). The road ends at (6,23). How long is
olya-2409 [2.1K]
Distance formula : sqrt (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2
(212,23)...x1 = 212 and y1 = 23
(6,23)......x2 = 6 and y2 = 23
now we sub
d = sqrt ((6 - 212)^2 + (23 - 23)^2)
d = sqrt ((- 206)^2 + (0^2))
d = sqrt (42436 + 0)
d = sqrt 42436
d = 206 miles <==
