First and foremost is safety. Remember, you are talking about a lot of weight that you can only lift for a single rep. Needless to say, this is going to be a challenge. As such, you will need a) proper technique for the given lift, b) a good spotter or at the minimum a reliable safety measure, and c) proper warm up. In this section we will discuss how you can properly warm up towards your one-rep max.

Describe how an organism has 2 sets of dna and the importance of homologous chromosomes
LenKa [72]
Most organisms are Diploid, and as a result, they will have received 2 copies of the chromosomes, or sets of chromosomes, from both their parents. This they will have 2 sets of Genes that will perform almost exact same process, except with different phenotypes.

These chromosomes need to be homologous, in order for new alleles and other genetic combinations to be made.

Which effect does deforestation have on the carbon cycle?
eimsori [14]

Answer:

Deforestation facilitates one part of the carbon cycle, increasing the CO2 in the atmosphere. It also prevents forests from absorbing any further carbon by destroying the trees. It, therefore, inhibits this aspect of the cycle and leads to increased levels of this greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.

How did each change to the land affect the fish in the pond?
N76 [4]
<span>Lakes and ponds are inland bodies of standing or slowly moving water. Although lakes and ponds cover only 2 percent of the world's land surface, they contain most of the world's fresh water. Individual lakes and ponds range in area from a few square meters to thousands of square kilometers. In general, ponds are smaller than lakes, though regional idiosyncrasies of naming abound—Henry David Thoreau's famous Walden Pond in Massachusetts has a surface area of 64 acres. Lakes and ponds are an important source of fresh water for human consumption and are inhabited by a diverse suite of organisms.</span>

HACTEHA [7]

The words for the descriptions are food chain, trophic level, energy pyramid, high diversity, low diversity, etc. respectively.

<h3>Ecology</h3>
  • The feeding relationship that exists among organisms is termed the food chain.

  • Each step in the transfer of energy and matter in a community is termed the trophic level.

  • A community or group of living organisms that live in and interact with each other in a specific environment is termed an ecosystem.

  • A diagram that compares the energy used by producers, primary consumers, and other trophic levels is known as the energy pyramid.

  • An ecosystem with a high number of species is said to be of high diversity.

  • An ecosystem with a few prominent species and a low number of other species is said to be of low diversity.

  • Organisms that feed on and break down organic matter are said to be decomposers.

  • Organisms that can make their own food in the ecosystem are termed, producers.

  • Animals that feed on flesh are called carnivores.

Why is the outdated term "junk dna" a misnomer for noncoding regions of the human genome? Why is the outdated term "junk dna" a
KIM [24]

Answer;

-The conservation of "junk DNA" sequences in diverse genomes suggests that they have important functions.

Explanation;

-The term junk DNA refers to regions of DNA that are noncoding. DNA contains instructions (coding) that are used to create proteins in the cell. However, the amount of DNA contained inside each cell is vast and not all of the genetic sequences present within a DNA molecule actually code for a protein.

-Some of this noncoding DNA is used to produce non-coding RNA components such as transfer RNA, regulatory RNA and ribosomal RNA. However, other DNA regions are not transcribed into proteins, nor are they used to produce RNA molecules and their function is unknown.
