Answer:27.35 m/s

Explanation:

Given

Time of Flight of Projectile T=4.08 s

Range of Projectile =76.2 m

Time Of Flight of Projectile is given by

T=\frac{2u\sin \theta }{g}----------1

where u=initial Velocity

\theta =Launch angle

g=acceleration due to gravity

Range is given by R=\frac{u^2\sin 2\theta }{g}------2

divide 1 and 2

\frac{R}{T}=\frac{u^2\sin 2\theta }{g}\times \frac{g}{2u\sin \theta }

\frac{R}{T}=u\cos \theta ------3

u\sin \theta =\frac{Tg}{2}------4

squaring and adding 3 & 4 we get

u^2(\cos ^2\theta +\sin ^2\theta )=(\frac{R}{T})^2+(\frac{Tg}{2})^2

u^2=(19.992)^2+(18.676)^2

u=\sqrt{748.49}

u=27.35 m/s

How is the force of gravity mathematically related to the factors<br> that answer Question I?
Vadim26 [7]

Answer:

Probably the more correct version of the story is that Newton, upon observing an apple fall from a tree, began to think along the following lines: The apple is accelerated, since its velocity changes from zero as it is hanging on the tree and moves toward the ground. Thus, by Newton's 2nd Law there must be a force that acts on the apple to cause this acceleration. Let's call this force "gravity", and the associated acceleration the "acceleration due to gravity". Then imagine the apple tree is twice as high. Again, we expect the apple to be accelerated toward the ground, so this suggests that this force that we call gravity reaches to the top of the tallest apple tree.

Question 1 of 10
Hoochie [10]

Answer:

The neutron is a subatomic particle, symbol

n

 or

n0

, with no electric charge and a mass slightly greater than that of a proton. Protons and neutrons constitute the nuclei of atoms. Since protons and neutrons behave similarly within the nucleus, and each has a mass of approximately one atomic mass unit, they are both referred to as nucleons.[6] Their properties and interactions are described by nuclear physics.
