Can someone please help me with this question
dsp73

Answer:

Options 1,2,and 4 are all incorrect. This statement pertains to the sound of  the guitar being drouned out in a literal manner. Vocies, machinery, and other instruments allhad equal chance to drown out the sound of the guitar during a preformance. It is clear that the guitarwould not be replaced,it's still used to this day, however more often than not, it was used as a background instrumentas drums or pianos are. The most common lead in music today would be the singer (voice) or the guitarist.Along with this, the hollow body of a guitar is used to create greater vibrations and a form of echo for a lack of better terms. If anything, the hollow body of a guitar helps its sound travel better han it harms it.
