You’ve written your first novel and, like many first-time authors, can’t find a publisher. So you’ve decided to self-publish you

r book. You need to work out the cost of printing the book. If the cost of printing the novel includes a base cost of $1,550 plus $4 per book, write a function that represents the cost of printing x copies of the book. Type your response here: If you want to cover the printing costs by printing and selling only 50 copies of the book, at what price must you sell the book?

P(x) = 4x + 1550 <== ur function

selling only 50 copies...
P(50) = 4(50) + 1550
P(50) = 200 + 1550
P(50) = 1750....so the printing cost for 50 copies is 1750

1750 = 50x....x = cost of each book
1750/50 = x
35 = x.......u would have to sell each book for $ 35 <===

I'd say that, if the angles S and U are equal, as the SV and UV segments move towards each other, they meet at vertex V, the angles they make, angle SVT and UVT, have to be equal, because the side TV is shared by both, and has the same direction.

now, side TV is on both triangles, and is shared by both, so is the same length, so TV on one triangle is equal to TV on the other

check the picture below

so, you have one Angle, another Angle, and then a Side

PLSSS HELP!!! What is the measure of angle x???
bixtya [17]

DBH make a triangle.

The three inside angles of a triangle need to equal 180

H = 180 - B - D

H = 180 - 39 - 36 = 105

H and X make a straight line that equals 180 degrees

X = 180 - H

X = 180 - 105 = 75 degrees.

A wire 31ft long is stretched from the top of a flagpole to the ground at a point of a flagpole to the ground at a point 15ft fr
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:the height of the flagpole is 27.12 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The wire makes an angle with the ground and forms a right angle triangle with the flag pole. The length of the wire represents the hypotenuse of the right angle triangle. The height of the flag pole and the ground distance from the wire represents the adjacent and opposite sides respectively.

To determine the height of the flagpole, x we would apply Pythagoras theorem which is expressed as

Hypotenuse² = opposite side² + adjacent side²

31² = x² + 15²

x² = 961 - 225 = 736

x = √736. = 27.12 ft
