r book. You need to work out the cost of printing the book. If the cost of printing the novel includes a base cost of $1,550 plus $4 per book, write a function that represents the cost of printing x copies of the book. P(x) = 4x + 1550 <== ur function

selling only 50 copies...
P(50) = 4(50) + 1550
P(50) = 200 + 1550
P(50) = 1750....so the printing cost for 50 copies is 1750

1750 = 50x....x = cost of each book
1750/50 = x
35 = x.......u would have to sell each book for $ 35 <===

blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

In a nutshell, g(x) = x+2.

Step-by-step explanation:

A composition is operation between function that consist in replacing the independent variable of the first function, f(x) in this case, for g(x). Common notations for composition between functions are f(g(x)) and f\circ g (x). If we know that h(x) = f\circ g (x) = (x+2)^{2} and f(x) = x^{2}, then g(x) = x+2.

In a nutshell, g(x) = x+2.

How do you solve number 29? Please step by step
trapecia [35]

Answer:

a) Junnie walked farther than Maurice

b) Junnie walked .62 miles farther than Maurice

Step-by-step explanation: Because speed times time equals distance, to find how far each person traveled you multiply their speed and time.

Distance=speed×time

Junnie:

2.5hrs×3.2mph=8 miles

Maurice:

1.8hrs×4.1mph=7.38 miles

8-7.38=.62 (the difference between the two)
