enzymes function most efficiently at the temperature aa typical cell, which is 37 degrees Celsius. increases or decreases in tem
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

This mechanism explains the importance of temperature regulation and homeostasis.

If the temperature increases, the enzymes which are needed to catalyze different reactions occurring in the body will get denatured. The enzymes will not be able to perform their functions. Hence, temperature regulation is very important to maintain the normal functioning of the body.

If the temperature was not maintained by the phenomenon of homeostasis, then the cells in the body will not be able to function at all.
