I don't know how to do this. I have the formula but I'm confused. Help?

For the lateral area, don't include the base area. For the surface area, you should include it.

now we sub and find b, the y intercept

2 = 8 + b

2 - 8 = b

so ur equation is : y = 1x - 6....or just y = x - 6 <===
